We added metal brackets to the t-posts and then we strung the double trellis wires.
Freshly pruned 2007 crop! See the short fruiting canes(or spurs) coming up. There are 7 per cordon (2 cordons per trunk) and 2-3 basal buds per spur. We will prune again this spring to take off some of the unwanted canes.
The pruners are hung and ready for the next pruning in April. We have had to go to larger pruners! The Vineyard sign came down so we need a new one hung. The air cond only works if you turn off some of the other lights!
New center posts set in cement down the middle of the field. We need to prime and paint these posts.
This is an ag tie that we added to the drip lines to prevent sagging. We put out about 500 of these and need to add a few more.
